FCCLA wins at Chili cook-off and Brochure contests

Emily Tyus, Bleckley County High FCCLA member, won 2nd place in the FCCLA State Chili Cook-Off held at the GA National Fair on October 13th.  Emily competed in the 2 and 1/2 hour event against 40 other competitors. 

Emily competed in this event for the second year.  She won a rosette ribbon and a $50 cash prize. Congratulations to Bleckley FCCLA and Emily Tyus!

Bleckley County High FCCLA Chapter also received first place in the FCCLA State Chapter Brochure for Adult Audience which was announced during the rally.  Mallory Dyal designed and created our FCCLA Chapter's brochure using her technology skills and elements of design on computers learned at Bleckley County High School.  She received a blue ribbon and a $25 cash prize.
